OMG! the appetizer menu is so die for! There's so much variety and its hard to choose just 2 items when I do visit. The food is exquisite!

Good: Food was very nice. Male owner was nice. Bad: particular lady staff member (morning staff) stares people down once their order was called until they stop eating and come get it (literally staring customers down) - if you're going to do that you might as well bring orders to the table (it's not that big of a place). No smile, no greeting, rude. I'd still go again for the food.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Tasty, casual Indian food in a modern, expansive space. We were looking for a dinner spot before going to a show at the Regent, and this place looked intriguing. Everything on their menu was vegetarian, and some were vegan, so it was perfect for us. On the night we went it was quite empty, so no problem finding a table. You order at the counter and they bring out the food to you. Since we couldn't carry leftovers with us, we couldn't try as many different things as we would've liked. We decided on the following: Paneer tikka tacos - 3 per order, looked like fries at first Momos - steamed dumplings Lentil cakes Everything was really delicious, the prices reasonable, and the service was also very nice. I think we've found our new favorite place in the area. I only wish there was one closer to us!

Dining in at tulsi Indian Eatery was heavenly. Such an amazing environment and the flavors of the food were Divine. Service was incredible, respectful, and caring staff. If you're looking for any type of north or South Indian food, this is a place to be at the inside was beautiful. The chai needs more flavors. It didn't taste fresh and no taste of cardamom.

The food was excellent. The ordering was a little difficult. Also, though they said they would exclude the scallions, they did not. We got a two curry combo with garlic naan, tamarind rice, malai kofta, paneer makhni, and dal makhni soup. Also chilli garlic fried rice, samosa chaat, mango lassi, and a masala chai. (The chai was delivered when we were about ready to leave.) All, super tasty. Though the tamarind rice was too dry. My wife likes the crispy outside of samosas, but these were smothered in sauces, so it was all soggy. No crispy. Still tasty. The Masala chai was a little gritty. Overall, a great place for dinner before our show at the Ahmanson, about a 20 minute walk.
